5 TipsTo Stay Motivated While On Your Fitness Journey

To get all the benefits of your workout you need good information. Follow these tips to help you maintain your motivation.
    1 - Establish a positive emotional connection
Most people do not really enjoy training, but studies show that when you choose an activity that you like, you establish a positive emotional connection and are more likely to stick to your exercise routine. Find a way to create a positive emotional connection with your sessions and you'll have every chance to stay motivated to train again and again.
2 - Think about the final result
Start by thinking about your goal and plan your training to find out how you should do to reach your goal. For example if you want to finish a marathon and you have set 24 weeks of training, you must be able to run a half marathon in 12 weeks or a 10 km in 6 weeks.

4 - Always think of the reward

Always have a goal in mind to stay motivated. It can be anything from a short-term fitness goal by going to the gym three times a week, or getting in shape for an alumni meeting, to running successfully your first 5 Km. Knowing where you go will keep you moving and going in the right direction.
    5 - Make small changes

Nothing changes overnight, so make small changes for lasting results. Most athletes feel the results occur within two weeks, but some may have to wait up to six weeks. Try to make this small change: walk for 10 minutes before and after your lunch. This adds 20 minutes of walking, or more than 1:30 of exercise each week to your routine.
